Information we collect
We collect information you provide when you create an account or profile, join a Group, register for a Gathering, share feedback, or update your recording preference. This may include your name, email address, profile details, membership status, attendance activity, and Group participation.
How we use information
We use this information to operate Groups and Gatherings, manage registrations and membership eligibility, communicate about activities, improve the community experience, and protect the safety and integrity of the service.
When information is shared
Information may be visible to other members where the service identifies it as part of a profile or Group roster. Authorized Group Leaders and Platform Admins may access information needed to operate their Groups. We may also use service providers that help us host, secure, and communicate through the service.
Recording and media
When you join a Group, we record your acknowledgement of the recording notice shown at joining. By registering for or attending a Gathering, Showcase, or other Convive Lab event, you consent to being photographed, recorded, and featured in Convive Lab’s media, as described in our Terms. To request removal of a specific photo or recording, contact us at privacy@convivelab.com.
Retention and choices
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to operate Convive Lab, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the community. You may update available profile and privacy settings through your account.
Policy updates and questions
We may update this policy as Convive Lab evolves. The date above will show the latest revision. Your use of Convive Lab is also governed by our Terms.
